Fox News asserted that reporters from CNN and elsewhere had gone with Libyan officials as human shields for Muammar Qaddafi at his compound, and their presence forced Western jets to scrub an attack mission there.
What Fox didn’t report was that they’d sent somebody out there, too…just not one of their qualified TV crew members, who were chilling back in the hotel.
