Here’s a freshman GOP congressman who barely won election, calling “Barack Hussein Obama” a ”a low-level socialist agitator” who shows “third world dictator-like arrogance.”
Here’s the freshman GOP congressman’s reward: nearly half a million bucks raised in three months for his reelection. This sort of speechifying’s made him a top fundraiser. Last election cycle, he amassed $6.5 million, or about five times what the typical congressional candidate raises.
One more interesting fact: His second-largest category of donors was “Republican/conservative.” His biggest category, which was nearly twice as big as No. 2, was “retired.”
