When Generation X (my generation, ftr) begins to pass away in droves, likely beginning in the 2040s/2050s, I will guarantee that these same bar graphs will even out. (Not be even, I recognize there is not literal gender or racial equality.)If a notable woman dies and a major national newspaper doesn’t report it, did it actually happen?
Sorry, but that’s bull. We have 3.8 % female Fortune 500 CEOs and 11 % female congressmembers right now, so your idea that these “bar graphs will even out” in some sort of automatism that um… isn’t really occurring IN THE REAL WORLD… is just gross bullshit.
HOW pray tell will the number of female CEOs jump from 3.8 % to at least let’s say 40 % to ‘even out’ in the next 8 years, so 2020 (presuming that people die in their 80s and work into their 60s)?! Or even in the next 18 years until 2030- you really think the number of women CEOs will grow TENFOLD in the next 18 years?!
