The Thalia Surf Shop of Laguna Beach, California, was forced to make a hasty apology after offending with an, um, novel promotional sale, tied to the birthday celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “In no way did we intend to hurt or offend anyone,” wrote store owner Nick Cocores. “For those that took offense or disrepect we truly are sorry.”
